Knock yourself out doing research on many different schools. Attend as many campus events and tours as you can to get the vibes of the place. It is important to feel good about the place where you are going to be for the next four years.
kind, open, super supportive!
I began my college education at Penn State Abington as part of the 2+2 program. Being that I was a part of this program, I knew that I would have to take my third and fourth year at either the Harrisburg or University Park campuses since they are the only two that offer my major. I chose Penn State Harrisburg because it's much smaller than University Park so it's more personalized for students and easier to make connections with staff, faculty, and other students. It is also closer to my hometown of Philadelphia and I am easily able to explore the nearby cities of Harrisburg and Lancaster.
There is always something to do and there is always someone new to meet. This is my first semester here and so far people have been super welcoming and sociable. Many people told me that on-campus events are a great way to meet new people and that's exactly what has happened in my personal experience. It's pretty great here so far and I don't regret choosing Penn State Harrisburg!
